HOA General Meeting

One of the items on the agenda is to elect the HOA Board Members. The nomination committee has provided for names of candidates for the four officers:
President – Suzanne Shive
Vice President – Mary Jane Medlin
Treasurer – Zane Chalfant
Secretary – Donna Fritsch
Meet The Candidates
All four of these neighbors have been part of our Gardens family for 14 to 22 years. Here are a few tidbits that you may not know about them. Suzanne’s family began their family farm in far west Texas in the 1880s. Donna was born up in Lampasas, Texas, but has lived here in San Antonio most of her life. Mary Jane and her identical twin sister (Judy) were born in Corpus Christi then moved to Atlanta before returning to Texas. Zane and his wife both grew up in Columbus, Ohio. Zane’s military service brought him to San Antonio where he retired in 1989.
When Donna is not working in her yard or working with the Feral Cat Society, she adores traveling. Ask her about some of her fantastic trips. Suzanne is a pet lover that has a number of pet rescues. You may have already met Bobo, her black and white Manx cat who loves visiting. You will frequently see Zane out greeting neighbors, frequently with his faithful 4-legged companion, Pebbles.
Zane and Donna have been on the HOA Board (treasurer and secretary) for a number of years. They have both worked tirelessly for our Community and are looking forward to helping other Community members step up and take on these duties.

Voting
By now, you should have received a paper flyer from your Block Captain about the HOA. It includes an absentee ballot on the back side. If you know you will be unable to attend the Spring Meeting, please complete your ballot and return it to your Block Captain. The vote will be conducted and counted at the meeting.
