Mutual and Reciprocal Benefit

As you know, when our beautiful Gardens of Oak Hollow community was established, the planners set in place restrictions and agreements for the “mutual and reciprocal benefit” of each and every homeowner.

Covenant

One of the first items that was included was the requirement that all of our homes, whether occupied or unoccupied, will be maintained to prevent it from becoming unsightly by unattractive growth or the accumulation of rubbish.

The “mutual and reciprocal benefit” of this requirement can be summed up as property value.  When a homeowner fails to water their lawn, trim their shrubs, replace a decaying fence, or ignores their home facing the alley, our Community begins to look like a neighborhood in decline.

That has a direct impact on our property values.

So Why Bring This Up Now?

I just want to encourage all of us to take a moment to stand in the street and alley and look at your home.  Try to be objective and look at it as if you were a buyer looking for a new home.

Does your home shine like the rest of the Gardens of Oak Hollow?
