Garden Gal Gatherings

Well, ladies, we only have two more Gatherings for this calendar year.  Do mark these on your calendars so that you can join us!!

We have great fun catching up with everyone.  In case you missed the last one, here is a recipe for the wonderful Butter Pecan Toffee Cookies, provided by Mary Jane Medlin.

Butter Pecan Toffee Cookies

  • Betty Crocker Butter Pecan Cake Mix
  • ½ cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bag Heath Toffee Bits
  • 1-1/2 cups pecan pieces

Add cake mix to a mixing bowl, along with eggs and oil.  Mix well.  Stir in toffee and pecans. Chill batter for one hour.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.  Drop dough in mounds using the back of a spoon.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
